Her Empty Frigidaire - An Original Country Song

String cheese is a food meant to be played with. The other day I went to my daughter's school to walk home with her. She had to stay another hour, so I sadly turned around to walk home by myself. I reached into my pocket and found the string cheese I had brought for her. Too bummed to eat it the right way (see below), I just wolfed it down. Knowing I had a long walk ahead of me, I challenged myself to write a song while I walked about someone who's too sad to play with his string cheese (no, that's not a euphemism). Of course, it was destined to be a country song, and here it is!Some definitions for my friends outside the US:String cheese comes in small cylindrical pieces, individually wrapped in single serving packages. It is usually eaten by tearing off strips along the length of the piece. Saltines are cheap, salty crackers. Frigidaire is a brand of refrigerator.
