make sure you have proper cooling before you go nuts on overclocking... you will have a big paper weight on your hands if you don't... The basic idea of overclocking is the more you overclock and the more voltages used, the hotter the component gets. just watch what you're doing and tinker with it first, don't just go to 3ghz.

The Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro.Search for it on newegg or something. Should be fine for your cpu to get up to 3GHz

3ghz is possible i upgraded my 2.3ghz to 3.6ghz no extra cooling and i only have 1 cooler |
