Ive passed the TAPC test and am waiting for BT now.. after my term think it possible to Cross Train to SERE? I dont know if I want to do TAPC for my whole career... I'd eventually want to be a SERE instructor and travel, think its possible?

lol thats what my recruiter told me, I already did processing though and the swimming was for CCT he had it mixed up.. now im just waiting for BT!

I may have to do SERE instead, I played college football at Texas Tech last year but Im 6'6' 230lbs i dunno if I'm that good of a swimmer.. the push ups, sit ups and running isnt a problem..

right now TACP is in high demand as a first term airmen you can cross train to CCT but if you were to do your hole first term as a TACP 4 or 6 years what it be it would be next to impossible to cross train. My supervisor had his package all setup to go back to CCT and some new commander came in a was like who plans on cross training and my super raises his hand and goes sir i have already had my package reviewed and will be leaving in the next few months an this cammander took it away right then

326USAF- Hooyah? Your future job? "Hooyah" is PJ/CCT, Jackass. Y34RZ- Stay Gung-ho but trust me, just because the minimum PT test is easy doese'nt mean you can handle the PT, shark sessions, FTX, ect. But good luck, never lose that positive attitude.Q&A-Whats the difference? Simple answer - The Tech, school. TACP can be conventional and SOF(Really dependant upon you), all CCT is SOF. But you will be a JTAC either eay (Joint terminal air controller.)
