Amen to that! The Association - who did a Jimmy Webb number "P. F. Sloan" - should also be in the Hall of Fame. Wake up, you people!

While I love PF Sloan..who is one of the truly great 60s songwriters...his version is not in the same league as Johnny Rivers.

I love the nuances in this version. Here the song in a new way. I personally think it's refreshing to hear another rendition than the same old, same old--and from the source no less. |
