Why are you waiting for those criminals in Congress to approve what you are doing? Did the founding fathers wait for King George to give them permission? Just hold the convention, draft some articles of confederation or a new constitution, and make sure you specifically deny corporations citizenship and deny them a charter if not for the public good - and deny corporations the power to lobby congress or make contributions to candidates.

There are 567 applications from all 50 states. The Constitution requires only 34 state applications. Your assumption is incorrect. Further Congress has refused to call a convention.

I think this claim is based on convoluted legal semantics and misunderstood history. Congress simply submitted the 17th Amendment draft to the states itself; why have an amendment-proposing-nat'l-convention to propose the same thing again? Also, Dr. Parenti's philippic against the Supreme Court here is a non sequitur. The goal of the video presenters here is very admirable, but I doubt there will be enough (2/3 of states) requests to get an Art-V convention. This can be done through Congress.

Great! but...I've gone thru most of the Article Vand CC2 sites and could not find anything about the next step in this saga. My site is for Congressional Term Limits,(look for it on youtube at nels96)and one of the strategies listed is for a convention, but I had no idea that Bill Walker had taken it so far. So how do I find out what's next ? Can I help ?

Aside from constantly calling our form of government (at least on paper) a democracy instead of a republic, this is a pretty cool video. Congress ALL needs to go to jail.
