You're wrong. I've never heard this song before, and listening to him sing it was very amusing, he was very good. Sure not perfect, but that can come with having any tension in you from being nervous. I think he was very professional, entertaining, and deserved to make it to the semi-finals.

I love how this guy was able to make it on the show SIMPLY BECAUSE OF THE SONG!!!! Simon couldn't have been more right.... the guys singing was mediocre, and that's generous.... he waivered a LOT while singing and sounded constantly out of breath. Not a good singer by any means, Simon pwned him AND the audience because he seems to be the only one that can tell the difference between the recording of the retro song which was clearly overpowering this guys voice, and a man who can't sing.
