Yes, I can understand that Genesis' transformation to a more pop oriented band was very painful to most of their older fans. Personally I like "Selling England..." and "the Lamb" just as much as I like "Invisible touch" and "Genesis". They're all great. Just dramatically different.

I don't think Phil, Tony and Mike destroyed Genesis in the 80's, but if they did at least they had a lot of fun doing it!
