No sólo lso brigadistas fueron los héroes. También los nuestros, que no sólo murieron; sino que sufrieron en carne viva las atrocidades del Tío Paco durante 39 años. Viva la quinta brigada y Viva España, republicana o no.

There were massacres on both sides, i acknowledge that. War brings our the animal in people, aand for this there is no excuse. But to turn a blind eye to the murder of countless left leaning citizens is terribly ignorant. Please continue with your viewing of FOX news.

The fact that catholic priests were murdered doesn't turn into a "mass murder backed by the Soviet Union" which were your words, you lying dishonorable piece of shit. I've probably read five times the number of books you've read about the war (nah, scratch that, since that would still be 0 for you have read none). The repression of the fascists was systematic and politically directed because they were against the working class. Now Franco is dead so fuck you and cry about it :)
Strange1334 (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
So you're pretending the Red Terror didn't happen in Spain and the 8,000 priests weren't murdered by savage anti-Catholic animals like this? Read a book about the war you filthy piece of commie shit. As for being "shot" by these scum, they lost, rightfully put in their place by the Nationalists.
caosvalencia (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
Will you shut your fascist mouth Strange1234? You have no fucking idea about the Spanish Civil War, there is NO HISTORICAL FOUNDATION for saying there was a mass murder of priests, unlike the thousands of documented political murders of socialist and anarchists in Spain, in the war and in the 40 year long fascist dictatorship that followed. You're just spitting fascist venom and you would have been rightfully shot by the brave men of the XV brigade.
Strange1334 (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
Yes I have. Have you? Did the mass murder of priests by communists backed by the Soviet Union skip your mind? The Republicans were opposed to national unity and tried to create an environment where secessionism could occur. Also not all of the forces were fascist. But the XV Brigada were certainly anti-Catholic terrorists. The Pope should have excomunicated them all.

And the fascist scum still howls... eternal honour for the brave comrades that came from every corner of the world to fight against fascism. Italians fighting in the Garibaldi battalion used to say "Today in Spain, tomorrow in Italy!"T.A.L.

Have you read the history of the spanish civil war? No one was trying to split it up, it was actually quite peaceful until franco desided to stop the socialism. Mabey if people volentered to fight facism against german as in spain, we could have avoided a certian nasty thing called the second world war.
