It does make sense for her to be wearing a miniskirt for this song...Jeannie C. Riley must have had to beat the men off with a club, she is so gorgeous! Great voice too and very charming. Glad to know she is still singing gospel somewhere, what a neat person!

That is awful, I didn't know that she was forced to wear them. But she is extremely beautiful and they did make her stand out, with a little extra flair.

she spoke once in an interview, that she was forced to wear the mini skirts in the male dominated C and W Industry, the skirts were in style and fit the song, and she was told she wouldnt sing in nashville if she didnt wear them
