Checked one of these out at the MC show last spring, Nice bike! The very GOOD rider really makes it look capable. And yes another KLR rider wants one.

Excellent bike, does anyone know if the gearing of this bike in the video is standard?More importantly, can they wheelstand?? :-)

I only have a KLR250, but I was at the Triumph/BMW dealership checking out these bikes. ALL of the ones they had in stock had 'sold' signs on them. All of them. -Austin Texas

The solid panniers can buckle, snap, crack or crumple on impact when you drop your bike in the Australian outback sandy roads. Soft leather or nylon/canvass panniers will simply absorb the impact. It's like the difference between a wooden box and a pillow.
