I was a member of the 360th.TEWS,"ANTIQUE AIRLINES" from Nov.1970 - Nov.1971 I was in Aircraft Maintainence ,apart of the ground grew that kept the old "Electric Goonie Bird" EC47 flying in Viet-Nam, we were at Ton-Son-Nuht Air Base.I was proud to serve in the USAF,and very proud to be apart of the history of the EC47,and the 360th.TEWS.

I was part of the USAF Security Servioce Crew which crewed the back of the EC-47. We collected Electronics Intelligence for the NSA and via the X Console and the navigator we also located the enemy with ARDF (Airborne Radio Direction Finding). My job was to keep the equipment working and I substituted for all the operators and even the navigator.
