Why is this film hated by so many? You either love it or hate it. For me, it's a great, underated masterpiece. You could see it more than once and it'll make you laugh and cry. Ultimately, it's a very human story...very intense, passionate, and sad. Polanski's a genius.

No, i dont recall anybody being mutilated. There is a minute of violence during the whole movie; a little psychological torture; Some revenge; a lot of sexual fantasies, nothing too explicit, though...

No, it's a twisted love story, not gory just very bitter.Well worth seeing it.

Roman does some pretty violent stuff. I don't want to see body parts hacked off. Is this film about that??
