We live in a world of mediocrity. Sir Stewart never went for that gap (risk adverse) and is a celebrity banker from Switzerland, not worthy of the title of legendary racing driver like Ayrton Senna. Stewart is a poser (only interested in appearances) seduced by wealth, Gucci is in his blood. Racing was Senna's life, he attacked a race track. Feerless and passionate racing driver. Flawed? Yes Mistakes? Yes"I have no idols. I admire work, dedication and competence". RIP Ayrton Senna

nice videos to see two different points of view. When Jackie Stewart was racing it was far more important not to crash into someone, because it could end the lives of all involved, than just to win. Drivers had far more respect for each other, and where seeing their "friends" die.In the 80s the fatalities where becoming much less and this started to make car to car crashes more often.

Senna was a reckless and irresponsable...and he`s dead and buried.May rest in peace. And SENNAMACLAREN, you should find a woman..that could sweet your life.

Senna was not reckless by any stretch of the imagination - he was confident and others didn't have the balls to race the they needed to in order to beat him so ended up having to call him reckless.

to lazer-Can't agree more:that's true! But he was clever, consistent and damn fast as well...Last but not least he had to match a team mate who undoubtely was the fastest driver of the pack by then,if talking about pure raw speed.Of course I do recall how exciting it was watching Mansell,G.Villeneuve,Alesi and Rosberg but that's all another story:people can be amazed by incredible overtakings or corrections but taking a look at the final result I say that Stewart's statement is correct.

555, there are many different type of drivers. Some drive with their heads, some with the heart, some with both. Sorry to say this but Prost was always a bore to watch.

Unfortunately SENNA finally found what he was chasing after for years. He has a romantic aura now but who can forget the reckless and unconsiderate driver he was. The greaatest drivers of all time (Jim Clark apart)are still alive or died of natural causes.

to 3verygoodreasons - HI! There's a smarter statement by J.Stewart:"the difference is in your head and not in the right foot".Villeneuve didn't get it (Mansell did not aswell..:):) |
