f1 cars-750veyron-1001 the rest is right. veyron would get smoked. so would any other road car

nascar has same power....more weight....less downforce...worse weight balance....why would you want to watch that?
whistler321 (July 7, 2008 at 9:25 am)
dude. the veyron is capable of 0-60 in 2.46. an f1 car can do 0-62 in 2.0. and dont think the corners would be any different. between the lighter weight and increased downforce, the veyron would lose in the turns too. downforce aside, to achieve the same cornering g force as an f1 car, the veyron would need tires over three feet wide!. add downforce for added grip and its no contest.

the normal f40 goes 0-60 in 3.8. the track only model 3.2

and the funny car would be wasted by the thrust ssc. we arent talking straight line speed here.

in the past ten years regs have been in place to reduce and limit power output for safety. right now each car must be a v8 with max displacement of 2.4 liters, and limited to 19,000 rpm. this produces about 30 percent less power than the previous 3.0 liter v10 engines. current f1 cars have around 730 to 750 hp
