this is so cool. i wish my power was easier to prove. when ever something bad is about to happen i get a throbbing headache and a bloodnose. it's about as useless as turning invisible when no one is looking

When x men 3 came out I saw on the discovery channel a special like this but they were showing how super human powers like in the movie can be real. The coolest power they showed was a drug that made flies which live normally one day live over 300+ days. Then the scientist said that they are 100% sure they'd have it done for humans in less then a decade, but in order for it to work you need to be in your mid 30's.

so when you listen to music or a long phase of words, is it just like eating in a buffet? If it is, do you feel hungry all the time or you can use a sound to fulfill your taste?

I'm also a synaesthete. I've been tasting words, numbers, sounds, and facial expressions for as long as i can remember. As a kid i didn't want to be labeled as a "freak" for being able to taste words and numbers. For example, if i hear the word "college" i am actually tasting the white cream inside an oreo cookie, and every individual number has a specific texture. Synesthesia gives you increased powers of perception and an enhanced memory.
