Magnet levitates with the help of a ceramic and liquid nitrogen. Pretty cool. I did not perform this video. Its actually Professor Tom H. Johansen in the Superconductor Laboratory at the University of Oslo, Norway who performed it. Thank you Prof. Johansen for contacting me!

the bowl is ceramic, the magnet is a neodymium rare earth magnet, the bottom black block you see it a block of graphite, he need to freeze the block for the magnetic properties of the graphite to show, the thing is its a supercondutor, meaning that it has magnetic properties the are negative to the field that the rare earht magnet produces, it creates a pillow of magnetism that the magnet can float on.

He is good, I admit. hehe

Hey Guys, I know how Mr.Wuzhu17 did his trick, here's how, Watch how he magnetizies the tiny metal disc, it's probabley a light alloy magnet of Samarium and Cobalt. He taps it on the base magnet, he actually magnetizes it, this alloy is has a high demagnetization resistance. Then he pours that dense gas, most likely CO2, the CO2,(carbondioxide) alters the magnetic waves, and forms an invisivle field. Because the alloy is very light, it hovers. :D thanks for listening:)

if it is cooled it becomes a superconductor, and repels the magnet
