So inspiring. It gives me shot down my spine. Ive seen this many times and am always inspired. Thank you for posting. Have used creative visualisation techniques for over a decade. Its the major factor for me being the person I now am. Back then I was ill and homeless with a drug problem. Ive worked very hard all these years, its true that some years were good but some bad. I now have a family and am about to close a deal on my new home worth $3million. Find a way to make it work for you.

Then why is it that most olympians have a specific body type for each sport? Sprinters usually around 6 ftSwimmers built like Michael Phelps. Why is it that you never see 5 ft olympic swimmers? Do all short people lack visulisation?

Well, everyone is born with fast twitch fibers. It is just a matter of how much each person has. And I was referring to sprinters as an example, not olympians as a whole. And I didn't explain the whole fast twitch thing - it relies on other attributes as well, but im not gonna explain it all right here.

What im trying to say is that even though you say that alot of people want it bad, well clearly there can only be so many people who compete in teh olympics, id put it to you that the people who make it to compete in the olymipics are the people who have done the most hard work and visualisation, and the thing is alot of people dont understand the power of visualisation, alot of altheletes may visualise themselves winning but might not understand just how important that was to them winning.

well i have to say i really am not a resident experty in olympic standard fitness, i am currently getting into bodybuilding but really i am not qualifyed to debunk your fast twitch muscle fibers quote but unless you know every althelete that has ever competed has been born with that type of muscle fibers i would put the question to you, how do you know there hasnt been a olympian who wasnt born without them? i dont mean that to sound offencive because you are entitled to dissagree with me. :)

I'm not trying to discredit hard work, dedication and visualization but obviously it isn't as easy as "the secret" for some things.
izEnii (September 3, 2008 at 10:18 pm)
Yeah but thats my point. Not anyone can do it if they visualize and train as hard as they possibly can. It's NOT possible. Their are plenty of people out there who wanted to become an olympian badly, and they hoped and visualized but why is it that it never happened for them? For example: a sprinter is usually born with a higher number of fast twitch fibers. Not being born with that many can probably be bypassed with hard work and dedication but not to olympic standard.so?
