If the embedded racism is a result of state violence, then you clearly cannot hold individuals accountable for that. And using state violence to correct state violence ignores the moral hypocrisy that says "government" can use violence, but you cannot and it is in fact immoral to resist (except by begging the government courts for softer beatings).I think disliking vanilla bean ice cream is immoral. Are you going to be a "purist" and object to me violently enforcing my preference on others?

Voluntary discrimination is no more immoral than disliking flavors of ice cream. If you don't like it, well then discriminate against the discriminators. But that's just your preference against theirs. If you use violence to force them to not discriminate, that is evil.

This is horrendous. I couldn't even watch it. A middle ground? Is that some sick joke?Do you support the use of violence for forced association or not? Embedded racism in institutions or the minds of people can only be the result of two things: coercive barriers to entry (state segregation) or voluntary discrimination.

SeanBedlam is angry is at "educators" like you who think they know everything. People like you contribute to the weakening of the USA since the 60's.

Wow, you seem to know a lot about what I have or understand...?I have given all of this some thought. I discuss greed in particular (and, indirectly, apathy) at length in my book, Our Tragic Flaw.History does back you up, but I'm trying to go even deeper: what is the root cause of greed and apathy? As for what we can change, that of course is unknown. For more on this, I recommend you read my book when it comes out. You can pre-order it now on the website listed in my video's sidebar.

The logic of violence is that which has a tendency to culminate in physical harm.Violence is the will to impose. These are my formal definitions. If you want to understand what this means, I recommend my forthcoming book, Our Tragic Flaw, which explores the question in detail.
