but i do hav to say this is my fav U2 song, i think its so powerful in its lyrics and can portray more than just a beautiful day. Bono is an amazing singer no matter wat people think, this song says to me a lot of things.... beautiful day, beautiful song, beautiful life

i can see where u are coming from raybradbury but i hav to disagree, i think that coldplay hav made many songs of equal standard to U2, U2 and coldplay are in my top ten fav band list, but personally my favourite song of all time is "clocks" by coldplay, i find it moving and it says something to me, thats y i like coldplay and U2 so much, they are deep bands with meaning behind their lyrics, so sorry mate but i completely disagree, personally i tihnk coldplay are just as gd as U2.
