How do you come to this conclusion? The ESP is obviously enabled because of the variable speed of the wheels with the ESP varying the torque and applying brakes to individual wheels because of the computer reading different wheel speeds. Sorry. Subaru AWD is the best. The same poor results happen with Haldex in a Volvo and Torsen in the Audi. One wheel with no traction equals no traction available in both.

The legacy had the VDC enabled(ESP and traction control) ,thats why climbed with only one wheel,NOT for the symmetrical AWD!The passat didn't make it because these "guys" disabled the ESP which means Traction control OFF!So...no one tells the 100% TRUTH!!!!Best traction = Torsen Best 2nd traction = Haldex
