This song is dope for a lot of reasons...but one that stands out to me is, there's no talk of violence or anything like that. I respect Eminem, Dre, Snoop, Common, Proof etc, but this was the joint that started it all. Sugar Hill Gang, Kurtis Blow, Fab Freddy, Run DMC...they did it without the typical "rollin' on dubs, Cristal, ho's and bitches" shit that's in EVERY song now.

meh, I hear nothing thats impressive. Its the same as rap these days. no message just singing on how good of an MC they are and they matterial things like cars or a tv to "watch the knicks play basketball". Sounds like todays rap that sings about "bling" meh
