uhh..that atheist guy's interest in fire is not something that should have been in this video at all.

Not true. By definition atheism is a lack of belief in a god, while religion requires faith (because there is no proof) that a supernatural power exists. Religion is very demanding that followers believe in a god. By contrast, atheism is the state of no belief. These are really two very different things and I am not sure how anyone can say otherwise.

Athiest itself is a religion. I don't believe in a particular religion but i'm open minded, i don't like going to extremes like proving to people there's no God etc.

Thats not true! It doesn't matter secular left, religious right, last time I checked a bird needs two wings to fly.I honestly don't see why secular institutions and religious institutions can't co-exist with one another, afterall thats one of the things the founding fathers wanted and even emphasized alot on!

hdz0 hit that on the nose. it was part of the humor of this video.

Ok just because I'm a pyro doesn't mean all are. I don't know why they did that but I found it mildly unapporpriate. At least they stereotyped both parties.

Agreed hdz0, but they also made the parents out to be complete nutjobs, the fathers throwing holy water on the guy all through the dinner. I would so take food off everyones plate whilst they're saying grace though, that was great.

I think they made the atheist out to asocial and a pyromaniac to get some laughs. Supposedly we're weird and amoral/immoral, I guess. |
