That cop sure is an idiot. But in all fairness, the guy didn't do what he was told, he just walked away. Maybe he was really, really tense or a rookie. I'm not saying he was right in doing that though, totally inappropriate.

This cop is dumb, there was no Reasonable suspicion, nor a Probable Cause for him to do what he did. I think the person can sue for Psychological harassment, but i am not sure that he is going to win anything at all, since cops are so damn corrupt and its hard to beat them

by the way, a police officer by law, can arrest someone for no reason, and hold them for 12 hours. at that time of no charges are placed the person can leave. AND they dont have to read the rights till they get to the station if the police chose to do so. the person being arrested has the right to know them and have them read to them, but not till they are taken into custody.

he was being arrested, and he would not do as asked in order for the cop to do his job. that IS resisting arrest. resisting arrest isnt always the offender wrestling with the cop. i am not a cop, i know the laws. ur an assumptive asshole.
