This man is awesome! I LOVE this cut. It's smooth and mellow and the chord changes are just infectious. That guitar and the that deep, rich bass gives this song a melody that strikes the soul. Mayfield was a genius. May he rest in peace. His band was tight.

Ahhhhh..beautiful..just beautiful...such a joy to hear a band in such mastery of delightfully delicate dynamics..so soft...subtle...deft..speaks so much louder than LOUD things...Lucky is so "on it" on the bass..yeh..loving the one handed hi-hat shuffle at the end-but it's all just sublime..
