Some countries have a "Samaritan" law, which states that you must help a person in need. The U.S. does not have one.

Not at all. Murder is the clear and premeditated intention to end another individuals life. At the very most it would have been man slaughter, however that would be so unlikely as to be discountable as even a mere possibility. |
