Saturday 3rd May 2008 Collectormania 13 -Milton Keyneswww.collectormania.comA long way off-patch today for a visit with my fan mates to a packed place where folk can pay to have an autograph, picture and chat with their favourite. There were host of stars from as far back as Catweazle from the 70s through to Heroes in the naughties. It was a feel-good atmosphere in a really nice location -- a giant mall. The event started Friday, Saturday was the second of four celeb-packed days, with a different star-set each day. Great day out. I MET DARTH VADER WHOO! (Dave Prowse - not the dude in the costume, he was no where NEAR big and beefy enough to have ME fooled!) Anyway, really nice and lovely guy. To anyone who met him - did he give you a free CD of a new metal band he's managing? How cool is that?!

i think its really sad that people like david prowse who played darth vader in star wars will spend the rest of his days signing photographs of himself in that costume i met him once at a sci-fi convention and he is just an old man making loads of money of the back of some films he was in and they never even used his voice when they were finnished. sad really sad.
