Just got back from WDW, where we did the amazing Haunted Mansion at least four times. The sound was great except for the way the ghost voice goes back and forth from left to right in your ears the whole time you're riding. It's distracting and takes away from the illusion rather than enhancing it.(Speaking of audio, the seance scene and the cemetary song are heard on the video way before they appear, followed by nine minutes of silence.)

when I was little we got stuck on that ride for like 40 minutes, in orlando... I was so scared -cuz I was little- and b/c it was the part when you are leaning compleatly backwards going down the stairs

Wrong about anything being there B4 the spiders, they have ALWAYS been there. Now the "gun shot" you speak of was actually a BB gun shot. and was covered by some cobwebs for many years. since the glass was so big and massive and expensive to replace.

Warning to anyone foolish enough to consume psychedelic substances whilst @ the House of Mouse; this ride as with many other rides will either render you psychotic, or you will crack up & eventually be booted from the park. Either way you will have a great story to tell at parties. There are Disney personnel looking for drunks and guests on benders,I met one who told me what behavior they look for. Thank you so much for catching the Devil Clock, that is my fav part of the entire ride. Have fun!

It was there last year, you can see it if you look toward the center, its at bad angle though. I was really amazed that they kept it, and get away with it to this day. |
