Absolutely right. I'm definitely on the "tone the fucking vibrato down" train. I wish this were a cleaner recording though... anybody have one?

I think this piece benefits from a much lighter touch than later opera. Frankly, it's a breath of fresh air to understand the words, hear only minimal vibrato, and feel like Dido herself is not an obese valkyrie.
