A great father does not cheat on his children's mother who is also his wife. A great father would've thought of the psychological consequences on his children and would've resisted the temptation to cheat. Eliot Spitzer is not a great father and indeed, not many men are. An example of a mistake is when I make a spelling error when typing because I am too emotionally put out by your comments to think carefully. What Spitzer did was a calculated and selfish attack on his family, no mistake.

i agree he should have, but we all make mistakes. I still have nothing but respect for him though. although I'm disappointed in him, I know he must be a great father otherwise for his kids to turn out the way they did.
