Well, it was Cyclone Nargis that hit Myanmar, not an earthquake. China was the one which got owned by the earthquake..

Par Par Lay, also known as U Pa Pa Lay, was arrested on 25 September 2007 in the city of Mandalay during the crackdown by security forces on anti-government protestors. He was arrested after leading a group of opposition party members in offering donations to Buddhist monks. It is not known where he is now detained.

If Aung San Su Kyi gains eventual power, this can only lead to a better society for HER people, and I hope she can offer the hand of friendship to the minorities that share Mayanmar, the Karen people's suffering for example in particuliar get little or no coverage despite being murdered in their thousands and diplaced to refugee camps in neighbouring Thailand.

people its time to take a stand right is right and wrong is wrong if the u.s. has to be the worlds police and maker of justice so be it its time and let me tell you that the hurt put on the innocent should be brought to bear 10 times worse to those who know they deserve it. |
