Yes he sings in and out of church.I live in Gary Indiana and he will be performing here in Hammond Ind, on nov 28,2008 at the horseshoe casino.What's funny I have a dvd of him Al Green according to the gosple, and he refused to even say the word baby on it,he said that that would not be christian like. That dvd was released in the 1990's.I don't know what happened since then to make him renig on just gospel or his old secular music!
