People that don't get why this is a superbly good performance SIMPLY don't understand art. Her voice is SUPPOSED to be fragile and "off" as you think. A pretty voice is nothing without feelings. Her voice is far from pretty in the boring sense people like. Her voice is superb in an artistic fashion, which is the ONLY fashion that lasts. Learn to appreciate true art instead. Btw, I'd still say Cohen's version is still unparalleled. Potentially the best song ever made.

Seriously off note on the word "king" in the beginning. But I like the way her voice gets during "victory march." I can see why people like her. She has a nice, earthy alto tone -- but she seriously needs some training.
