14's were standard on the 316/18/20 and 325i, but the 325is and 318is came with 15's as did the early m3, the evo2 and some of the limited editions m3's came with 16x7.5's bbs, have a 318is myself handles mint on 15's, anything bigger looks muck.

I love e30's too but the wheels are what sucked. The standard 3 series came with lame 14" rims.
