And that's where Medicare/Medicaid comes in. Nobody is saying we should withhold help from those who, through no fault of their own, need it. I have huge problems with giving stuff for free to those who refuse to help themselves. Insurance isn't out of reach for most people, they'd just rather buy a new big-screen tv than pay the policy premiums.

u know u r right. let's not help the undrprivledged children, or the elderly people who need health care. After all who cares if they can't get help as long as we save a couple bucks right.whatever happened to helping the needy??? If we did have better healthcare then at least they could go in and get help when they needed it.
