Memorial Day Tribute to members of the United States Armed Forces who now rest in peace in Arlington National Cemetery - set to the song - "Arlington" by Trace Adkins - In honor of the Fallen Heroes of the US Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and Reserves. All gave some, some gave all. These are the men and women who bought our freedom at the price of their lives. We give thanks to those who made the ultimate sacrifice and pray for the loved ones they left behind.Lyrics:I never thought that this is where I'd settle downI thought I'd die an old man back in my hometownThey gave me this plot of land,me and some other men, for a job well doneThere's a big white house sits on a hill just up the roadThe man inside he cried the day they brought me homeThe folded up a flag and told my mom and dad'We're pround of your son'And I'm proud to be on this paecful piece of propertyI'm on scared ground and I'm in the best of companyI'm thankful for those thankful for the things I've doneI can rest in peace, I'm one of the chosen ones, I made it to ArlingtonI remember that my daddy brought me here when I was eightWe searched all day to find out where my granddad layAnd when we finally found that crossHe said, 'son this is what it cost to keep us free'Now here I am a thousand stones away from himHe recongized me on the first day I came inAnd it gave me a chill when he clicked his heels and saluted meI'm proud to be on this peaceful piece of propertyI'm on scared ground and in the best of companyI'm thankful for those thankful for the things I've doneI can rest in peace I'm one of the chosen ones, I made it to ArlingtonAnd every time I hear twenty-one gunsI know they brought another hero home to usWe're thankful for those thankful for the things we've doneWe can rest in peace, 'cause we were the chosen onesWe made it to Arlington, yea, dust to dustDon't cry for us, we made it to Arlington

one of my customers at the grocery store was in the army. he got hit in the head with shrapnell and now can no longer work. he is now epileptic and has multiple health problems. he gave his well being for his country. he's only 24 and he can't even take care of himself anymore. that's true sacrifice to give up the rest of your life for your country.everyone honors the ones who died and they did give the ultimate but the ones who come back too damagerd to function deserve respect too.
