nope. The law convicts us of our sin. Paul said, "I would not have come to know sin except through the Law" (Romans 7:7). Paul also says, "because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin" The law is our schoolmaster that brings us to Christ. The law shows us that we are guilty and need the Savior. Saved by Grace through faith and not of ourselves, its a free gift so that no man may boast.
