Kind of a waste eh? The supplys you need like prayer potions and food is worth more then ur coin reward. Lets say you get an item worth 700k-1mil. Divided that with all the people in ur clan. If 100 ppl are in the clan then you get 7k-10k. If the item is like worth more then 10 mil, thats 100k+ but come on.. Lots of theses items are rarely dropped.
