But it certainly minimized bloodshed. It also gave the Indian protesters the moral high ground relative to the British and created public support for Indian independence.

A lot of AA in an effort to have an idenity other then the ones given to them by slave mongering white european christians will become Muslims but I think this is also wrong. Most Africans weren't Muslims to start with. They were west Africans and these traditions and cultures should be explored by African Americans.
