ok, matt pinsent at any stage of his career would have found a 30min ergo rate cap 20 at 1:40 challenging.... in his book he said that, but the point was at altitude its actually testing your max to see if you can get that 9000.... kinda confusing but my point is no one in the world regardless of physical condition would find a 30min ergo rate cap 20 at 1:40 easy...

IN matt pinsents book, he says that in St moritz they always do a 30 MINUTE RATE CAP OF 20... so all rowers out there, to get over 9000 thats 1:40 for 30 min... which is not that hard if you are national level(well it is) but at ALTITUDE! hehehe, without oxygen you have no chance unless your lungs are the size of peter reeds
