Beautiful ! When this song was written and recorded, the Dream of the Promised Land across the Borderline was a whole lot safer then what it is now. Then , it was a peaceful and calm area and very safe area as shown in the the Movie " The Border " but nowdays that has all changed. Very Unsafe for anyone because of the Drug Cartels and drug gangs shootings and killings that take place on or near the borderline these days.

this song was written by ry cooder, and john hiatt...beautiful song...they should get together again...this is classic with freddy.Want to get a hold of it-Ry Cooder on his'Get Rhythm' lp. excellent album...
