i do have music up, here on youtube. feel free to hate accordingly. i never tried to imply that pete wasnt a genius at what he does, cause HE IS! its just he seemed to me as though he was putting himself way above everyone else, and i just get irritated at people who do that. but in that same breath, me putting some1 down is pretty much putting myself up, so im being a hypocrite. long story short, i hate when people give themselves praise, rather than accepting it. just seems too arrogant

ok ok, when i wrote this in the back of my head i knew i was being a hater, i dunno i HONESTLY think it was cause i was just watching a kanye video and his cockyness had me worked up, then i watch pete and it kind of reminded me of that same cockyness.i actually do chop beats and im pretty good at it, i like tedious work because the way my brain functions, im very meticulous so i spend prolly more time than i should on stuff i do. i dont roof, im a bio major in college btw. and i do make music

i see how you got that conclusion bro, and i agree with you in some cases, But pete rock is truely amazing at what he does.Sampling is alot harder then it looks/seems/sounds. I been in music all my life and just got into sampling recently, i thought it was gonna be all simple and easy, but its more to the art then just taking a loop and putting drums over it.I ain't gonna go on explaining this in a comment, but hit me up if your intrested, no bad feedback. Well yea you aren't going to get good feedback cus you just spittin venom. Go do some real work? Roofing and laying cement? That's brainless work that anybody can do. Making music regardless if it is sampling or not takes a creative ability that not everybody has. He is doing something amazing. Dude has been making hits for years. Also, Pete can easily compose his own original music, just chooses not to. I'd like to see how long you can last chopping samples... shit is tedious as fuck.

listening to this cat, i feel like saying, get over yourself!forreal, omg he wont be tired chopping beats all day, seriously??no shit!!!?how bout you try laying cement all day and see if your still feelin fresh, or go do some roofing or some real work.sorry im not gonna get good feedback for this, but im just annoyed at how he thinks hes doing something amazing, whats amazing is the peeps at AKAI who put that equipment together and the bands who REALLY made the songs which he is sampling
