I agree with u mooiegarage dude, it's not the two chords- it's the magic woven into them.Look at his show and the way he dances- a true showman! And thanks for the tidbit about his Gretsches and his own Billy Bo.. he was more my older brother's time, but every1 from Dylan on borrowed from his style-including me!

Actually it's a Jupiter thunderbird, which Bo so aptly named it -given the shape of it. Complete with built in envelope filter effects and reverb, I think it was. Made by Bo himself, as you might know. The Billy Bo was the rectangle shaped one. Also custom made for Bo after his specifications by Gretsch.

theyre weird looking. they look like fenders why do they got little heads thats odd

You've never really heard Bo Diddley because he created some of the greatest muic. Give a listen to Billy's Blues parts 1& 2 that's his band playing and not to many people could keep up with him. It's a known fact. He had a lot of hits with differnt styles of guitar playing.

What fenders? His Amps? Because his Guitar is not one. It's a Gretsch Billy-Bo.

Bo Diddley should have been the first black President.

It wasn't his insane guitar playing that got him famous. It was his sound and his rhythm. That guitar rhythm combined with the raw sound from those fenders is what distinguished him.
