Harold was briefly married to Dorothy Dandridge. Who did Fayard marry? And did either of them ever dance with Jenny Legon?

I love them--and also their only competition, the Berry brothers---you can see them over on the clip from "Lady Be Good", "Fascinating Rhythym.", (also has Eleanor Powell in it.) The quote about computer generated, from Hines? I was at a dinner the other night and showed the clips from the Glenn Miller story to the children (teens) of our hostess and they refused to believe it wasn't special effects-- I mean, hold stupid did these old fogies think they were? Nobody could do that.

Okay, so let me get this straight. They did all of that...1. Together. 2. In-between instruments,3. On top of big ass stairs, 4. In the fuckin 40's?!?!?! How? How in da hell can you jump about 10+ feet and land in a wide ass split. about 4 or 5 times and then stil get up without any hand help whatsoever. Then dance yo ass back up the big ass steps only to slide down the slide IN SPLIT FORM!!! So i think (yeah)I just shit my pants. lmao.

You should really watch their dance in Chattanooga Choo Choo, search for chattanooga choo choo and choose first link (Glenn Miller one)

Couldn't have said it better myself. They were way ahead of their time and then some.

fayard was 29 and harold the shorter one was 22 when this film was made in 1943.Gregory Hines said that if a biography was ever filmed about the Nicholas Brothers that their dance routines would have to be computer generated because no one duplicate them. I agree totally
