My goodness... with all due respect to all the other greats, Sweetness had the perfect blend of the best attributes of all the other greats, the agility of Sanders, the power of Brown, QB arm, superb route runner, soft hands, breakaway speed, crushing blocker. Thanks so much for posting this. I grew up in Chicago and watched him every Sunday. He was amazing to watch. He is missed.

Walter Payton up played on crap teams for much of his career. It wasn't until later on in his career, when Ditka became coach that the Bears got much better.
