Love the vehicle, was about to ask what vehicle was ahead shooting the video....but why do these guys brake instead of slide/drift into the corners????

All that matters is they both dominated the gtr

according to Automobile, ACR did the Nuremburg at 7:22 and the ZR1 at 7:26. 4 sec difference. This is significant on a track but as an everyday car it's not that significant...

the acr is a race car simple as that so of course it'll tear up the zr1 around a track. would like to see a competition z06 like the acr with a big wing a bigger front splitter and a race setup suspenion and with a couple hundred pounds less

You really can't compare a ZR-1 to an ACR, they're two totally different cars. True, the ACR is "street legal" but in reality it's a purpose built track car. The Radical SR8 is "street legal" too...As for the "The ZR-1 produces more horsepower with a smaller engine" comment...it's got a supercharger on it. The Viper is naturally aspirated...that's like comparing apples to oranges. Two different ways to do the same thing. Is one better? Depends on what you're looking for...

i think the ACR is a better track car. i don't even think you should compare the ZR-1 and ACR. The ACR is pretty much a pure race car, not much of a daily driver at all as i saw in some vids. the ZR-1 is a combo of both. it's got all the goodies, leather, navigation, etc. Not trying to shave every ounce like on the viper. So, for a car i'd take the ZR-1 any day. but i like the viper as well. just my opinion. America is kicking ass now!

Well that's what I mean, while not a track only car, it's still more of a purpose built track vehicle than either of those to.They're all awesome though, this is fact.

Not true; it is street leagal. I like the Viper, but I would prefer a ZR1 as an everyday driver.

HP/L means nothing. And if you're going to say a car is better by that alone, you can't really know what you're talking about. The Viper beat the ZR1's Ring time. It has better suspension, aero, tires, and brakes. From a performance standpoint, I'd say it's the better car. Though Ring time alone doesn't count for much.

To close a lot of argument, the ACR lapped the ring in 7:22, unofficially. Faster than the GT-R and ZR-1
