I try to talk people out of building their own because when something breaks they don't have a repair shop to take it to. See warnings on hybridpowerbike website

I've seen bikes with two motors. Two motors equal twice the energy drain, twice the weight, twice the cost. Make much more sense to just buy an electric scooter.

About $1500 but don't try to build one unless you know wiring because you will occasionally need to figure out why it quit working.
