...callipers and 278mm discs. As for the steering on the GT4 being "direct steering, only one turn and the escort not have", you'll have to explain that... "celica have good sistem of ic water cooler sistem", which i assume means a charge-cooler? The Cosworth ran a combined charge-cooler and inter-cooler. "turbo load directly intake manifold" No tengo idea lo que es?Performance wise, the GT4 had a higher top-speed, at 152mph compared to the Cosworth's 144mph. Having said that, the GT4 hit...

The Celica featured in the video isn't a "WRC-series", it's just a normal UK-spec Celica GT4, which had 239bhp and the Escort RS Cosworth featured is a "small turbo model" YBP and had 217bhp. The torque isn't the same, the GT4 had 223lbft and the Cosworth had 217lbf.ft. Yes, the GT4 used 4-pot callipers, but only 315mm discs. The Cosworth used 2-pot...

It makes you wonder if they used this "modified restricter" to help win the drivers and manufacturers championships, in the previous years? You've got to love "Toymota"...

I'm afraid it's true! They got caught at the rally of Catalunya in 1995. They got banned for 12 months and were stripped of all their points. Their restricter was not sealed so it was possible to move it without touching the seals, it was possible for air to enter the engine without passing through the restricter and the position of the restricter could be moved so it was further away from the turbine than the 50mm limit permitted. The FIA estimates that 25% more air was allowed into the...
