I think you cant even compare this and Arehtas versions since they are so different. And as allways I think the original version is better ;)(Carole Kings). But I think Aretha Franklin is amazing singer too =) love I say a litle prayer <3

Carole's piano playing is so passionate, and her lyrics so soulful. I remember once, I went to my estranged uncle's house, after he divorced my aunt and remarried. I was a teenager, in the 70s. When he opened the door, IT'S TOO LATE was playing on their stereo, and sunlight seemed to be just streaming out the door, onto the porch. I remember just feeling stunned, and then realizing,"It's warm and familiar here." Carole made the world so cozy and warm and true and soothing. I miss those days.
